Can my existing concrete slab be polished?
Most sound slabs can be. We look at the slab first: cracks, old coatings and how it was poured all decide how it will come up. If you are not sure, call and ask before you commit to anything.
What is the difference between polished and honed concrete?
Polished concrete is ground to a reflective finish with the aggregate showing through. Honed concrete stops earlier, for a smooth, low-sheen surface with less glare and less slip.
What does floor prep involve?
Grinding, levelling and removing whatever was stuck down before, such as glue, paint and old coatings. It is the part nobody sees, and the reason the finish on top lasts.
Is a seamless epoxy coating right for a garage?
Yes. It is a continuous resin floor with no joins for dirt to sit in, built for garages, workshops and anywhere that takes traffic, oil and heavy gear.
How long will the job take?
It depends on the size of the floor, the condition of the slab and the finish you choose. We give you a time with your quote.
How do I look after a polished floor?
Sweep and damp mop with a neutral cleaner. We will tell you what suits your finish when the job is done.
Do you work outside Goulburn?
We are based on Mulwaree St in Goulburn and work across the Southern Tablelands. Larger jobs further out are worth a call.
