How it’s done
Five steps from bare slab to finished floor.
Bare slab
Start with the slab as poured: stained, pitted and uneven. We check it, repair cracks and joints, and agree the finish with you.
Ground
Diamond grinders take the top layer off in overlapping passes. The natural stone shows through and the surface is flat.
Densified
A hardener soaks into the ground concrete, so the surface stays tough and the polish lasts.
Polished
Finer and finer diamond pads, one pass after another, bring the surface up to a deep, even shine.
Sealed
A final protective coat locks in the finish and makes the floor easier to clean.
